When the activations limit is reached it is no longer possible to use the license key to activate the software on additional devices. If you want to do so then it is necessary to first remove a machine from your license.
For example, a five-user license key is permitted to be activated on ten total machines. The license keys for PDF-XChange software are assigned a specific number of users, and each user is permitted to activate the license on two machines - a desktop PC and a laptop/touch-based device - provided that they are the primary user of both machines. I have reached the maximum permitted number of activations for my license key and would like to remove a machine from my license in order to free up a space for a new machine.
